In almost every country in this world drinking has its own culture and history, except for the Muslim country where drinking is banned. In East Asia, alcohols are produced from rice and in the west it is grain and corn that produces alcohol. But these data does not reveal much about the way or level of drinking by peoples in different countries.

Alcohol in Europe
It is the European countries which posses the most cool attitude when it comes to alcohol. In countries such as Italy 5.alcand France, it is almost mandatory to sit with a bottle of wine when the family is having an evening meal. It is also the fact with other European countries, where meals are followed by drinks like vodka.

Drinking In Asia
Among the Asian, Chinese consumes alcohol much less, except in some parties or business gathering. Though in Japan, drinking is bit popular than in China. While in India, compared to the amount beer is produced there drinking is not that common. May be it is because of the large amount of Muslim population located in the country.

The Americas

Much of the South American culture of drinking is derived from that of Europe. This is the same in case of North America, specifically is USA. However, in USA drinking is much more strict, as the minimum age for buying alcohol is 21 years there.

Drinking Culture Pros and Cons
Whilst we rejoice, and truly, our comfortable and casual drinking society, it is worth to remember that those countries with a somewhat more formal move towards alcohol do not undergo from the similar level of urban brutality and offence that Britain does. Yet, though the French, for instance, drink alcohol at much similar rate – or may be greater – than the British, French city tend not to discover themselves at the pity of drunken mobs at night. So maybe it not that the quantity of alcohol we are drinking, but why and how we drink.
